Most walks are of 2 hours duration. Some drives an hour or so longer
Meeting place for trips is indicated in the first column after the time. B stands for our traditional meeting place at the lower end of Belk's parking lot close to Burger King, the WM means the new Wal-Mart on Route 466 (meet near the store’s garden center at the end of the parking lot closest to the railroad tracks) and P means Paradise Recreation Center (Gregory Peck & Marilyn Monroe Rooms). L = optional stop for lunch at a location near the walk site. *Hilly and fairly strenuous 3 mile walk Sign up for Special Events (members only) is announced 30 days prior to the date of the event and reservations are accepted on a first-come basis. Directions to the various places are provided as well.
