Bird walk report - Wood Duck Drive

Replaced Treasure Island

Date: Friday, February 10, 2006

What a great turn out as we had 15 full cars going through the marsh. Always a great place and today was no exception as we saw and heard 64 species with some great spotting such as the Painted and Indigo Bunting and the Fulvous Whistling Duck. This is why "Wood Duck Dr." is on our calendar more than once, coming up again Friday, March 10. For those of you that didn't make today's outing you will have a second chance.
