Well after the fog lifted we had a pretty good day of birding with 51 species. Missing was the Red-cockaded Woodpecker and Summer Tanager. FOS were many singing Yellow-throated Vireos and Bachman's Sparrows, with a great view of a close up pair of Bachman's and the Great Crested Flycatcher. Hope you had a good time!.


Birds Seen Today:
Wild Turkey, Great Egret, Cattle Egret, White Ibis, Black Vulture, Turkey Vulture, Swallow-Tailed Kite, Bald Eagle, Red-Shouldered Hawk, Red-Tailed Hawk, American Kestrel, Sandhill Crane, Rock Pigeon, Mourning Dove, Red-Headed Woodpecker, Red-Bellied Woodpecker, Downy Woodpecker, Northern Flicker, Pileated Woodpecker, Great Crested Flycatcher, Loggerhead Shrike, White-Eyed Vireo, Yellow-Throated Vireo, Blue Jay, American Crow, Fish Crow, Carolina Chickadee, Tufted Titmouse, Carolina Wren, Ruby-Crowned Kinglet, Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher, Eastern Bluebird, Hermit Thrush, Gray Catbird, Northern Mockingbird, Brown Thrasher, Northern Parula, Yellow-Rumped Warbler, Pine Warbler, Palm Warbler, Black-And-White Warbler, Eastern Towhee, Bachman's Sparrow, Northern Cardinal, Red-Winged Blackbird, Eastern Meadowlark, Common Grackle, Boat-Tailed Grackle, Brown-Headed Cowbird And American Goldfinch.
