Bring water and snacks and please remember to set up your car pool according to your departure time from Merritt Island. We will break for lunch between noon and 1pm, you may wish to head back to The Villages after lunch or stay on for more birding of different areas of Merritt Island. I will meet you there at aprox. 8:30am at the boat launch just the other side of the bridge (on the left) their is a restroom at this location. I am going on Wednesday to scout the area. This is one of the best birding spots in Florida so don't miss it. This will be a slow drive with many stops to get out and view/scope waders, ducks and shorebirds. It is about 95 miles to Merritt Island and there will be a comfort stop in Deland.
