Although it started out a little chilly (we're such wimps in Florida), fifteen participants enjoyed a birdy walk on a perfect sunny day. We were serenaded by Sandhill Cranes as we delighted in the brilliant (for Florida) fall colors. Our most unusual sighting was a Merlin spotted by Paul Nistico. Everyone had excellent views of both a Red-headed and Pileated Woodpecker.
