Bird walk report - Potts Preserve

Date: Thursday, Apr 26, 2007

A very warm morning for a walk in the woods but we scored on our target bird the Summer Tanager, how beautiful. Things seemed to quiet down around 10 AM but before that the woods were full of the music of the birds, a treat to the ears after a winter of silence. 45 species accounted for today! A gourmet lunch, served in style, was enjoyed by all at Turner's Fish Camp along the river.
