Bird walk report - Ponce Inlet

Eight cars of birders headed off to Ponce Inlet for a great day of birding. Even with the tide high and the heavy wind out of the north, we were able to come up with 54 species. Any day I can bird on either coast of Florida I'm a happy birder. Hope you all had a great day

Birds Seen Today:

Red-Breasted Merganser, Wild Turkey, Brown Pelican, Northern Gannet, Double-Crested Cormorant, Anhinga, Great Blue Heron, Great Egret, Snowy Egret, Little Blue Heron, Reddish Egret, Cattle Egret, Yellow-Crowned Night Heron, White Ibis, Black Vulture, Turkey Vulture, Osprey, Cooper's Hawk, Red-Shouldered Hawk, Red-Tailed Hawk, American Kestrel, Sandhill Crane, Black-Bellied Plover, Semipalmated Plover, American Oystercatcher, Greater Yellowlegs, Willet, Ruddy Turnstone, Sanderling, Laughing Gull, Ring-Billed Gull, Herring Gull, Lesser Black-Backed Gull, Caspian Tern, Royal Tern, Sandwich Tern ,Forster's Tern, Black Skimmer, Rock Pigeon, Eurasian Collared Dove, Mourning Dove, Common Ground Dove, Belted Kingfisher, Loggerhead Shrike, American Crow, Fish Crow, American Robin, Northern Mockingbird, European Starling, Yellow-Rumped Warbler, Palm Warbler, Common Yellowthroat, Red-Winged Blackbird, Boat-Tailed Grackle And Brown-Headed Cowbird.
