Bird walk report -Merritt Island

Date: Thursday, January 17, 2008

Rainy weather as the group left TV but we were spared this moisture at the Island. Even though it was cloudy and windy Thursday's total species was 79 and Wednesday added an additional 14 for a two day total of 93 species. For those of you who were kept home by the weather you missed, by far, our best birding venue, sorry. Merritt Island is just one of the best birding spots in Florida.
