Even
though the weather report was stormy we were spared any bad weather
and our
walk produced 39 species at Hontoon with the clubs first Northern Parula
of the spring. We interrupted some wild turkeys taking a sand bath
and watched a great blue heron, on it's nest, consume a snake. Following
our walk at Hontoon many of us continued on for pancakes at Deleon
Springs State Park where we added 6 more species.
