A rainy start to our day at Homosassa
Springs for the 12 who showed up for this walk, but after a cup of
coffee in the visitors center out came the sun and we had a great day.
This is always a nice place for folks to see native birds and animals
of Florida. There were not a lot of feathered visitors and it is always
hard to determine who's visiting among the ducks. We did see a nice
flock of American Redstarts and a great Yellow-bellied Sapsucker just
past the aquarium. After Homosassa Springs my car of folks drove north
to 44 and headed out to the Gulf, a beautiful drive and 23 additional
species.
