The Village Birders Club

Bird walk report -Fort Cooper State Park

Date: Friday, March 5, 2010

Birders 30 and birds 54. Sorry no migrants although I had an email from Paul Nistico that he saw a Swallow-tailed Kite on his way home so I will add it to the list. Thanks Paul for leading a group on the other trail. The lake at Ft. Cooper didn't provide many birds as the ducks are on their way north but the trails were popping early. Many Black & White Warblers about along with a good number of White-eyed and Blue-headed Vireos.
