Bird walk report -Cedar Key/ Goethe State Forest

Great weather and a great place to bird for our day at Cedar Key. WOW, now that was a low tide as I thought I was standing at the Bay of Fundy! Although the shore birds were way off in most places we had the use of many great scopes, generously shared by the owners, thanks. Our species count for the day totaled 70 including the Brownheaded Nuthatch from Goethe St. Forest on the return trip. Hope you all got to see the American Avocet just off the last bridge after leaving the town of Cedar Key. Birds Seen Today:
