Bird walk report - Carney Island

Relatively quiet, but fair birding for the date. Good group of about 20 birders.
Blackpoll Warbler and Ovenbird were probably two “best” transients of the day



Birds Seen Today:

Double-crested Cormorant, Great Egret, Tricolored Heron, Green Heron, White Ibis, Osprey, Red-shouldered Hawk, Mourning Dove, Yellow-billed Cuckoo, Ruby-throated Hummingbird, Red-bellied Woodpecker, Downy Woodpecker, Pileated Woodpecker, Great Crested Flycatcher, White-eyed Vireo, Red-eyed Vireo, Blue Jay, Fish Crow, Purple Martin, Tree Swallow, Tufted Titmouse ,Carolina Wren, Gray Catbird, Northern Mockingbird, Northern Parula, Blackpoll Warbler, Black-and-white Warbler, Ovenbird, Northern Cardinal, Red-winged Blackbird, Common Grackle, Boat-tailed Grackle

Birds Heard

Common Moorhen, Sandhill Crane, American Crow
