Bird walk report - Bourlay Historic Nature Park

Date: Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008

Once again Mother Nature spared us a shower but the birds seemed to be hunkered down for the first part of the morning. With such a large group it was necessary to split into two teams again today which seemed to work out well. Then about 10:30 the trees started popping with birds and our count for the day totaled 49 species including a wonderful view of the male and female Painted Bunting that started out our morning at Bourlay.
