Bird walk report - Blue Springs

What a gorgeous day to be on the St. John's River with your fellow birders. Not many Manatee's in, but happy to see those that were there. Hope all of you enjoyed the trip!

Birds Seen Today:

Anhinga, Cardinal, Coot, Cormorant, Sandhill Crane, American Crow, Great Egret, Snowy Egret, Purple Gallinule, Common Grackle, Boat-Tail Grackle, Pied-Bill Grebe, Ring-Billed Bull, Red-Shouldered Hawk, Great Blue Heron, Little Blue Heron, Tricolored Heron, Yellow-Crowned Night Heron, White Ibis, Mockingbird, Common Moorhen, Tree Swallow, Wild Turkey, Black Vulture, Turkey Vulture And Pileated Woodpecker

 

NEXT UP:

Wednesday, February 1 - Bourlay Historic Nature Park - meet at Belk's parking lot 8am for a short drive to Leesburg. This is a new venue for the club and is 88 acres of mixed habitat that borders Lake Griffin and contains Leesburg's largest remaining unaltered contiguous hardwood hammock forest. The park contains many trails to explore.
