Bird walk report - Blue Springs St Park & St. Johns River by Boat

A beautiful day for a boat ride and even though all but a hand full of birders scattered to the wind those who stayed on for the count logged 43 species. Normally we walk as a group, to bird the park after the boat ride, but not today. Where did everyone go? Birds Seen Today: Wild Turkey, Pied-Billed Grebe, Double-Crested Cormorant, Anhinga, American Bittern, Great Blue Heron, Great Egret, Snowy Egret, Little Blue Heron, Tricolored Heron, Yellow-Crowned Night Heron, White Ibis, Wood Stork, Black Vulture, Turkey Vulture, Osprey, Red-Shouldered Hawk, Red-Tailed Hawk, Purple Gallinule, Common Moorhen, American Coot, Limpkin, Sandhill Crane, Ring-Billed Gull, Royal Tern, Mourning Dove, Belted Kingfisher, Red-Bellied Woodpecker, Pileated Woodpecker, E. Phoebe, Fish Crow, Tree Swallow, Ruby-Crowned Kinglet, Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher, American Robin, N. Mockingbird, N.
